Dovecote at Cogges Manor Farm, Cogges, Witney, Oxon

The dovecote, which is clearly still well used, can be found on the corner of Mud Lane and Church Lane. The Manor Farm dates from around 1250 but it was much altered in the 16th century and a large gabled block was added in the 17th century. The age of the dovecot is unclear, but it certainly looks old. Some of the inhabitants:- Image
