The big red-brick block is a 1911 extension to the fire station (now a fire training centre), "by the Fire Brigade Branch of the London County Council Architects Department, job architect W E Brooks." Not a million miles away from e.g. Image Grade II listed. On the corner is a late Victorian pub, the Goldsmith.
