View northward from Battersea Rise bridge towards Clapham Junction and Waterloo. The locomotive is SR Bulleid 'Merchant Navy' rebuilt 4-6-2 No. 35022 'Holland-America Line', built 10/48, rebuilt 6/56, withdrawn 5/66 and preserved; it is currently on the heritage East Lancashire Railway being restored to main-line standards.
