The sign on a lamppost shows where drivers of two- or four-coach trains should stop. In late January 2016, the single platform on the Rhymney Line station is long enough for a train of six coaches. The 6 car stop sign is ahead http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4811599 near the southern end of the platform.
