Former Hop Exchange, Southwark Street

A monumental front - 39 bays in all - with a rhythmic procession of cast-iron columns. The pedimented entrance has fine gates (Image]). Built in 1866 to the designs of R.H. Moore. The two top storeys were removed in 1920 after a fire. Grade II listed. Now offices.
