Old cottage at Longfield House farm

This may have been a farmworkers cottage, or perhaps a workshop. This C19 farm was a big concern in its day and has a large courtyard type layout, typical of planned C19 farms. It has the most wonderful collection of surviving old buildings, but after standing empty for some while, was recently sold. I rather fear for the fate of the old buildings.
