The car ferry service to Rothesay is operating out of Gourock while Wemyss Bay pier undergoes extensive remedial works which will last for several months. This entails a longer sea crossing - probably more than double that of the regular Wemyss Bay to Rothesay route. The photo was taken from Inverkip at around 11:30 on a very overcast morning.
