Uncompromising late Victorian pub, well sited at a busy road junction. Beyond left is a long Georgian terrace: Image Prominent on the right: Image To the fore are former gents' underground toilets, dated c1900, behind which is a Metropolitan Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough Association trough. Grade II listed. Long neglected, since 2013 the toilets have improbably acted as an arts venue, Artslav.
