Dating from the mid 17th century, set back from the southwest side of Chestnut Hill. A nearby board shows QUAKER MEETING HOUSE RELIGIOUS SOCIETY OF FRIENDS (QUAKERS) MEETING FOR WORSHIP held here followed by details of the worship times. The building was Grade II listed in 1951 (as Friends Meeting House, Nailsworth)
