I understand that the hospital has not always had a dedicated lane for ambulances and the many buses that call here. At this time of day, early afternoon, patients visitors and staff are queueing for spaces in their allocated car parks. The young plane trees lining the approach road are not happy on this exposed site. The vast hospital looms through the fog.
