Shudehill interchange is a major transport hub situated a few hundred yards south of Manchester Victoria station in the city’s Northern Quarter. It comprises a Metrolink stop and a bus station. The tram platforms at Shudehill opened on 31 March 2003 and the full interchange opened on 29 January 2006 http://www.lrta.org/Manchester/city_centre.html . The tram stop has two platforms, for inbound and outbound services. In this photograph, Bombardier M5000 tram number 3064 is about to depart from the outbound platform. It is on a Sunday-only service from Ashton-Under-Lyne to Manchester Victoria Station
