Hefty twenty-six storey tower built in 1965-67 with a prominent detached service block. Pevsner remarks that its "afternoon shadow stretches halfway across Southwark Park, a typical example of how existing open spaces were used to justify, and then were spoilt by, high-rise flats on their borders".
