NO! NO! This hotel welcomes dogs with open arms; it's just that Scooby and his pal were relegated to a blanket in the back of a jeep during their stay here. With non-stop rain for three days it wouldn't have been fair to the hotel staff to cater for wet Spaniels. This is a wonderful hotel which was built in 1793 as a residence for James Machel and later converted into one of the first lakeside hotels of the district. Image
