Peebles Mural

A mural on the gable end of the Old Bakehouse in Pennel's Close, showing scenes from the town's history. It was designed and painted by local artist Michael Jessing with funding from Peebles Creative Place 2014, Awards for All and Peebles Common Good Fund, along with public donations. The right-hand end starts with King David and moves through the centuries via the Border Reivers to the coming of the railway, then to modern times.
