The Shrewsbury bound train has just left Borth station. The line from Borth to Machynlleth skirts 'Borth Bog' which is also called 'The Great Bog' and in Welsh, 'Cors Fochno', a National Nature Reserve. Although not evident from this view, the hillside ahead of the train is on the opposite side of the Dyfi Estuary, above Aberdyfi.
