The bridge carries the B4381 (Severn Street and Severn Road) over the canal. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4722375 A plaque on a bridge wall records that this bridge was rebuilt in 1900 at the cost of (modern texts would probably use "expense of") Charles Edward Howell, a native and inhabitant of this town.
