This vintage diesel exiting Ladhope Tunnel at Galashiels is hauling a steam special back to Edinburgh Waverley. The Union of South Africa steam locomotive hauled the train from Edinburgh to Tweedbank, but as there is no passing loop or turntable at the Tweedbank terminus, the diesel was used on the return journey.
