The Sandwell Arch

The arch is in fact the surviving lodge or entranceway to Sandwell Hall, which lay to the north of here (roughly where Image is marked on the maps) and which itself was demolished in the 1920s. The 18th Century arch holds a Grade II listing, along with the length of wall on the left.
