Clissold House is an 18th century mansion overlooking Clissold Park, both saved from being built over in the 1880s by the actions of John Runtz and Joseph Beck of the Metropolitan Board of Works. The park's two lakes are called Beckmere and Runtzmere by way of thanks. More info on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clissold_Park
