Looking towards Bounds Green Underground station

Bounds Green Underground station opened on 19th September 1932 on the same day as the line from Finsbury Park to Arnos Grove. The extension to Oakwood opened on 13th March 1933 and finally to Cockfosters on 31st July 1933. Bounds Green station was designed by C H James, a colleague of Charles Holden.
