These are the original Wilbraham's almshouses (the establishment moved next door in the 19th century Image). They are "a row of C16, timber framed cottages now almost wholly reconstructed and much altered to a single dwelling, the present building incorporating part of the original timber frame", but nevertheless grade 2 listed (list entry 1249568).
