The road junction has a number of local shops in its vicinity mainly on Ditchling Road and Preston Drove. These are on the latter with from right to left; a Co-Op that was here when I lived in the area back in the late 1980s, a second hand clothes shop, a flooring company and an empty shop recently vacated by Forfars the bakers.
