The striking B-listed neo-Gothic building from 1844 once housed the Seven Incorporated Trades, Aberdeen's medieval trade guild organization, which by the 19th Century had become a social and charitable organisation. For more, see: http://data.historic-scotland.gov.uk/pls/htmldb/f?p=2200:15:0::::BUILDING:20527 . The Trades moved to the new Trinity Hall on Holburn Street in the 1960s.
