The former house dates from the 18th century and was refurbished in the early 1800s with the shopfront added to number 75 sometime during the 19th century; 75 is the original store established by Tufnells, an interior furnishing retailer, who have since expanded into Image; Number 77 is currently the home of Denziloe, a ladies hair salon.
