The Shepherds Inn in Langwathby is decked out in bunting in anticipation of the Aviva Tour of Britain 2015. Stage 5 of the Tour on September 10th runs from Prudhoe in the Tyne valley to the finish on Hartside Pass. The banner reads "The Shepherds Inn Langwathby welcomes the Tour of Britain to the Eden Valley". One of the many yellow bikes which have been stationed around the village can be seen against the side wall.
