In 1864 Rachel Myers gave 5 acres on Molescroft Road, just outside the borough, as an additional burial ground for St Mary's parish. At the junction with Bleach Yard, the cemetery lodge, No.2 Molescroft Road, 1875, probably by William Hawe.
