Looking towards the city centre from the south bank of the River Lune. The bridge ahead (centre) carries a joint footpath and cycle path which reuses the trackbed of the railway line that once linked the city's two main railway stations, Castle (the London & North Western Railway station) and Green Ayre (the Midland Railway station).
