Pevsner says that the lodge here is Tudor, but the gates, the walls and the pavilions are by Robert Adam. He goes on to say that "The design of the gates is of exquisite elegance and economy of ornament." The 1066 Country Walk passes through this impressive entrance to Ashburnham Park. This is close to the crossroads at Steven's Crouch. Some information about Ashburnham Park can be found at http://www.parksandgardens.org/places-and-people/site/154
