If memory serves correctly, this was one of the original businesses at St Nicholas Gate, which opened in 1989. The clock was very useful at first but it later became unreliable. The owners of the retail park terminated Burger King's lease, because the ground was needed to provide car parking spaces for a new ASDA supermarket. The building was demolished in March 2013. As far as we know (August 2015) Burger King has not opened a new outlet in Carlisle.
