This former open pan salt works has now finally reopened as a museum in 2015 after a protracted and expensive restoration. Just right of centre is the manager's house. To its right is the reconstructed No. 5 stove house. To its left is the fuel oil tank in front of No. 4 pan house and further left is the former Red Lion public house. It was proving a popular visitor attraction and we had an excellent couple of hours here.
