A blackboard on the door read, confidently and rather poignantly:"July 2013: The Return to Tradition...The Reincarnation of The Stamford Arms Pub and Restaurant. All that is great about Home Bar will be reignited and spruced up, rejuvenated and revamped! Check new website: www.stamford-arms.co.uk". As of July 2015 there's no sign of the pub's re-opening and the quoted website is unavailable.
