Nos.36 to 40 Beckside, probably early 18th century origins. The Traveller's Rest, No.36, was a new public house in 1858. It closed in 1925, when it became a garage and cycle engineer's shop. Planning approval was obtained 26 March 2015 for change of use from a shop to a coffee shop and delicatessen, reviving the name of the former pub.
