The stone waymarker on the Llynfi Valley Community Route is at the edge of steps http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4590632 up to Maesteg School. The stone was carved by artist Adam Williamson using an extract of poems written by pupils of Maesteg School and Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Llangynwyd, with the help of poets Grahame Davies and Mike Church working through Literature Wales.
