S G Instruments started out as Hyde Tool, a five-man tool room located in a small mill specialising in press tools of mains gas, electrics and gas fires. Now it operates from a purpose built factory of some 25,000 sq ft off Dukinfield Road from where they supply the scientific industry with all major facilities for this field eg - CNC machined components, full cleaning facilities and treatments, electronic sub-assembly, substantial industry classification standard clean room assembly areas, together with test facilities for vacuum leak detection.
