East Meon - High Street and Izaak Walton PH

East Meon is a very attractive village in Hampshire. This view is along part of the flint wall bordering the High Street to the northern side. Behind the small tree the blue parasols belong to the Izaak Walton pub which is the white building in the centre of the image. Good beer and sensibly priced good pub food. There are two pubs in the village, the other being Ye Olde George Inn, which apparently is also very good though I haven't yet visited it.
