The title may bring to mind an idyllic thatched cottage behind a picturesque village green, but it is in fact a residential redevelopment of the office block, Heron House. The ground floor is still occupied by the NatWest bank, but the upper floors are being converted to 94 one- and two-bedroom apartments with sea views. See Image for a view of Heron House as it was in 2008. The bus stop in the picture has been moved from nearer to the Lansdowne roundabout, helping to ease congestion at that busy junction.
