Pauline's General Stores was originally the scout hut at Corby Glen for twenty-five years, a blue-painted wooden building in the market place of a predominantly stone built village, yet looking as much a part of the place as any of its ancient companions with a warm and welcoming interior containing a cornucopia of domestic wants from washing powder and polish to sauce and sweets and ice cream.
