A ScotRail train at Dalmuir station, in the north-western outskirts of Glasgow. The railway here is electrified using overhead wires. Most trains serving Dalmuir are electric. However, this train is a diesel multiple unit which is heading into Glasgow from Mallaig, an end-to-end journey of more than 5 hours along Scotland's West Highland Line.
