View SW towards Burnham-on-Crouch and (South) Woodham Ferrers: ex-GER terminus of branch from Wickford via Woodham Ferrers. This branch was one of few to survive the closures of the 1960s and was even electrified in 1986 and now flourishes. A Class 321 is about to depart away.
