Faversham Recreation Ground

Faversham Recreation Ground was created in 1860 and covers some 20 acres. The cost of providing it was met mainly from the bequest of the great Faversham benefactor Henry Wreight, as well as by subscriptions from townspeople. This is in the north-east corner next to Whitstable Road.
