The green box near a bend in Station Road is a sewage pumping station. A warning on the other side of the box states that potentially explosive atmospheres exist on this site below ground level. This is Welsh Water Asset number 32811. When Welsh Water was founded in 1989, one of the public sector undertakings it took over was the Herefordshire Water Board in England.
