Located 450 metres east of the A40 Whitland Bypass, the boundary sign is alongside West Street. Whitland (Hendy-gwyn in Welsh) is a small town in west Carmarthenshire, near the Pembrokeshire boundary. The sign shows that Whitland is twinned with Pipriac (a commune in Brittany, France).
