Thought to have been built in C17 or earlier. See http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-162703-red-lion-public-house-weston-hertfordshi#.VVPBoPlViko for entry in British Listed Buildings. See http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/876314 for Nigel Cox's 2008 picture when the sign and name of the pub were displayed in a more traditional manor. In 2015 it's all very modern.
