The Clock House Inn is a 16th Century thatched free-house which tragically burned out on Easter Monday 6th April 2015 while the landlord and family were at a fete in the village. They lost everything bar their lives and pets. It is planned to reopen; fundraising events are being held in pubs, clubs and village halls all around the area to help the family restart their lives and hopefully re-open at some stage.
