Bagshot Cedar Tree

This old cedar tree stands guard over the entrance to Bagshot from the A30 road. It was one of two planted in about 1820, the other having been felled in 1965 to permit the A30 to be widened. The nearby public house has been renamed to celebrate this tree, see picture Image
