Princes Half Tide Dock on the River Mersey is part of the Port of Liverpool. It is situated in the northern dock system in Vauxhall, connected to East Waterloo Dock and West Waterloo Dock to the north and Princes Dock to the south. The dock opened in 1810 and consisted of a lock entrance from the Mersey. This passage has since been closed off. The area surrounding Princes Half Tide Dock forms part of the proposed multi-billion pound Liverpool Waters development.
