Betws yn Rhos is a village and community located about 5 miles inland between the coastal towns of Abergele and Colwyn Bay. The hills to the south of Betws yn Rhos lie close to, and rise steeply from, the village centre. This provides a number of far reaching views, notably in a northern direction to the sea through the dramatic valley of the Afon Dulas with Craig y Forwyn on the western side and Pen y Corddyn Mawr to the east.
