Standing on the north bank of the Thames at Wraysbury and partly hidden by trees, Honeypot Cottage was built in 1933. It has three thatched sections of roof each coming to a point so that they resemble honey pots. The cottage was home to actress Beryl Reid OBE http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beryl_Reid from the mid-1950s until her death in 1996. Beryl Reid at Home http://www.britishpathe.com/video/beryl-reid-at-home is a British Pathé newsreel clip showing the actress at the cottage in 1958.
