This ornate church is somewhat different to its original form. Designed by Charles Robert Cockerell, who was inspired by Sir Christopher Wren, with an interior by T. Burrough it was consecrated in 1830. Sadly, it was badly damaged during the Blitz and much of Burrough's features were lost. Nowadays the church carries on its work and is Grade II* listed.
