In the window of The Lions of Bledlow public house nestle these two wooden lions with a carved name plaque. I would think that these were made by a local treen craftsman, as treen making was once common in the area (see H.V.Morton's "In Search of England" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Vollam_Morton )
